Rachel has experience working with clients with a range of mental health needs including struggles with anxiety, depression, body image and low self-esteem, life transitions, LGBTQ+ issues, and self-injury/suicidal ideation.
Rachel is passionate about working with LGBTQ+ clients and families; including but not limited to assisting clients in their ongoing journey of identity exploration, helping parents support LGBTQ+ adolescents, and increasing familial communication.
Rachel has utilized her training in dialectical behavioral therapy when working with individuals wanting to work on the therapeutic goals of decreasing self-threatening behaviors such as self-harm and suicidal ideation, increasing emotion regulation, and helping the client create a life worth living.
