Heather La Scala is a LCSW licensed clinical social worker specializing in providing therapy for individuals, adolescents, couples, and families. She is currently licensed to see clients in the states of Delaware and Florida.
Heather holds a master’s degree of Social Work from Widener University as well as a master’s degree in education with a concentration in school counseling from Wilmington University.
She provides compassionate counseling services for individuals, adolescents, couples, and families. She has over 15 years of experience working in a variety of diverse settings including outpatient mental health centers, schools, medical facilities, and private practice.
Heather provides therapy to ages 14 and up, adults, families, and couples to help them change patterns, enhance relationships, and find solutions to live happier lives. She has extensive experience working with clients impacted by anxiety, stress, depression, relationship and communication issues, and life transitions. Heather’s therapeutic approach is to create a warm, empathetic, and collaborative space in which she helps empower her clients to create positive change in their lives. She works with each client utilizing a variety of approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, family therapy, and couples therapy. Heather is now excited to offer Brainspotting to interested clients. With compassion and understanding, Heather helps her clients to build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
