Hannah Shevitz, LACMH is a (NCC) nationally board certified associate licensed counselor of mental health and EMDR trained clinician providing individual therapy for adolescents and adults, ages 16 and older, as well as counseling for couples.
Hannah specializes in working with individuals with a history of childhood and/or relational trauma who are seeking to heal and develop tools to live their life more authentically and fully. Hannah has experience working with clients dealing with relational issues, PTSD, anxiety, depression and mood disorders, as well as chronic pain and inflammation. Hannah also has a particular interest in working with women dealing with vulvovaginal health concerns. Hannah largely values collaboration with her clients and believes that clients are the experts of their own lives. In treatment, she utilizes complementary techniques and methodologies from attachment, internal family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Hannah is an empathetic, warm, and personable therapist who strives to work alongside her clients in their individualized counseling journey. Hannah is supervised by Megan L Doyle, LPCMH.
