Debra Zeyfang is a (NCC) nationally certified counselor and (LACMH) licensed associate counselor of mental health. She specializes in providing therapy for individual adults, children, and adolescents, as well as couples and families. She is currently licensed to see clients located in the state of Delaware.
Debra holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She has experience in a variety of counseling settings, including schools, homes, and residential treatment facilities. Debra is trained to practice an eclectic approach to therapy and tailors her treatment to fit the client’s individual needs. She is an interactive, and relational therapist and her therapeutic approach includes a unique balance of support, challenge, and genuine, practical feedback to help her clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques including: The Gottman Method, Gestalt, Systemic, Psychodynamic, Relational, Client-Centered, TF- CBT, and Mindfulness to offer a highly personalized therapeutic experience to each client. Her warm, empathetic approach helps her to better understand each individual and the experiences that brought them to therapy, while her techniques aid her in developing personal growth within her clients.
