Hannah Shevitz, LACMH is a (NCC) nationally certified counselor and licensed associate counselor of mental health. Hannah provides individual therapy for adolescents and adults, ages 14 and older, as well as counseling for couples
Hannah has a graduate degree in mental health counseling from Villanova University. She has experience working as a crisis counselor and therapist in the private practice setting. She also has experience working as a health education teacher in the public-school setting, which has provided her with valuable insight into the struggles that students and young adults might face. Hannah has a specialized interest in working with individuals dealing with sexual health issues, trauma, PTSD and their effects on self-esteem and intimate relationships; allergy, school, and social related anxiety; depression and other mood disorders; and social and familial relationship concerns. She is also interested in working with individuals navigating relationships with autistic family members . Hannah values collaboration with her clients and believes that clients are the experts of their own lives. She is a client-centered therapist and implements complimentary techniques and methodologies from attachment, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, trauma informed mindfulness, and motivational interviewing in her work with clients. Hannah is an empathetic, warm, and personable therapist who strives to work alongside her clients in their individualized counseling journey.
